Laying the maindeck. We have a supply of teak that was reclaimed from the SS Olympia, it has been machined down to 1.5" thick for the actual planking. The covering boards are made out of iroko, which we also used to make pads to support the various deck lights and vent holes.

Here the planks are being dry fitted. Before they finally went down the tops of the deck beams were painted with red lead.
